2024 Eleştirmenlerin Seçimi Ödülleri (Critics Choice Awards) adayları açıklandı. Greta Gerwig yönetmenliğinliğini üstlendiği “Barbie” filmi toplamda 18 adaylıkla rekor kırarak kuşkusuz bu yılın en dikkat çeken yapımı oldu.
Daha önce adaylık rekoru 14 adaylıkla “Everything Everywhere All At Once” (2022) ve “The Shape of Water (2017) filmine aitti. Bu yıl açıklanan listede “Oppenheimer” ve “Poor Things” filmleri de 13 dalda aday gösterilerek, Barbie’nin hemen arkasında yer aldı.
Bununla birlikte 29’uncusu düzenlenecek Eleştirmenlerin Seçimi, merakla beklenen Akademi (Oscar) Ödülleri adaylıkları öncesi bu listeyi açıklayarak, sezonun öne çıkan yapımlarını, en iyi filmleri ve performansları da bir araya getirmiş oldu. Ödüller, 14 Ocak’ta komedyen Chelsea Handler’ın sunacağı törenle duyurulacak.
